| Border Collies are highly intelligent dogs! They will need ALOT of exercise. Border collies excel in herding, agility and obedience classes. They need to be trained in all basic commands and then more advanced ones. Their minds have to be occupied with some sort of "job" to do. All of ours run all day long, then ready to crash by 8:00pm. We don't need herding done here, but we are always throwing frisbees, balls. Agility training for our dogs will begin in the Spring. We just have these 4...not a large breeding program at all. We enjoy our dogs alot (have of rescues too), and when we breed it is with the intention of producing exceptional puppies based on the parents background. Our dogs are outside most of the day, but inside at night. Puppies will be socialized with many family members of all ages. |
